A bit about us Rena Hamilton nee Clotworthy first became involved in Family History research in the 1970's when she began investigating her own  Clotworthy ancestry. Over the years she has developed an extensive database on the  Clotworthy  name both here and abroad. Rena lives in Glasgow and has researched many families from this area for family, friends and other interested individuals. She is a member of Glasgow and West of Scotland FHS where she also volunteers on a regular basis. She has assisted in a number of projects, including the indexing of the  1851 and 1881 census. Isobel Colliar nee Hamilton  became hooked on genealogy in 1980 when, while working in London, she was dispatched to St Catherine's House  to seek out Clotworthys in the English registers. In addition to researching the Hamilton side of her ancestry, she has also researched many other families and is an expert on the Angus area, where she lived for many years.
